Sports Betting – What To Bet On This Weekend (June 6 – 7)

With everything that’s going on in the country right now the sports weekend offers a giant release. Instead of watching rioters and police battle it out on the streets we can watch one of the greatest female MMA fighters in the octagon. The main event at Saturday’s UFC 250 has dual champion Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes taking on Felicia “Feenom” Spencer in a featherweight title bout. Nunes is an overwhelming favorite at online sportsbooks to win her 11th consecutive fight. We don’t have dates yet, but everyone is excited about the NHL and NBA outlining plans on how to resume their season. We do have dates for more European soccer leagues returning, joining Bundesliga among others, and the post-coronavirus NASCAR Cup Series schedule resumes on Sunday. These are a few of the numerous wagering options available at online sportsbooks this busy weekend.

UFC

You have to pay to see it, but watching Nunes (19-4) in the octagon at UFC 250 is worth it. Pound for pound she’s the best in the UFC and possibly the best female mixed martial artist of all time after taking down Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, Cris Cyborg and Holly Holm during her streak. Next up is Spencer (8-1), the Invicta FC featherweight champion before graduating to the UFC. The Canadian has only one pro loss, falling to Cyborg in a decision. Spencer is a huge underdog but her unique set of skills could be problematic for Nunes.

With the bantamweight title vacant following the retirement of Henry Cejudo, six fighters look to make a move up the rankings for a shot at the belt. Cody Garbrandt is favored to beat Raphael Assuncao in the ticket’s co-main event. Cory Sandhagen takes on Aljamain Sterling and undefeated and unranked Sean O’Malley goes toe-to-toe with Eddie Wineland. The five-fight main card is available on ESPN+ pay-per-view with the prelims and early prelim shown on ESPN. Visit BookMaker.eu for current odds on every bout and to place your wager.

NASCAR

The NASCAR Cup Series continues Sunday with the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. Following last week’s sprint around the half-mile oval at Bristol it’s back to the longer tracks with Kevin Harvick the betting favorite. Drivers will race 325 laps around the 1.54-mile quad oval at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It’s hard to overlook the recent exploits of Brad Keselowski, winner in two of the last three races. He won this race last year along with a second and first in the previous two, so history is on his side. Visit BookMaker.eu for a complete updated odds list and to place your wager.

Baseball

While the big leaguers in the States squabble over games and pay in an attempt to start the season we have none of that going on in South Korea. The KBO has a full slate of games this weekend with first-place NC Dinos taking on last-place Hanwha Eagles in a three-game set. Teams near the top of the standings battle it out twice on ESPN. At 4 a.m. ET on Saturday second-place LG Twins face Kiwoom Heroes. The two go at it again Sunday at 1 a.m. ET. There are also games in the Taiwan CPBL. BookMaker.eu has lines and odds for every matchup.

Soccer

Germany’s Bundesliga was the first major European league to restart following the coronavirus outbreak with others taking to the pitch soon. The Premier League, La Liga and Serie A are all scheduled to reboot by June 20, which means there will be a lot of soccer to bet on over the next few months. It’s a busy weekend in Bundesliga with eight matches over the weekend. First-place Bayern Munich puts its four-match post-coronavirus win streak on the line against Bayer Leverkusen in a five-match Saturday slate. Other top leagues around the world have either started or will resume play soon. Check out schedules and odds for all matches at BookMaker.eu.

Horse Racing

As more tracks open up so do the wagering opportunities. A lot of ponies are running this weekend with Santa Anita Park, Belmont Park, Churchill Downs, Gulfstream Park, Golden Gate Fields and Los Alamitos all running on Saturday and Sunday. Top international parks in France, the UK and Australia are also hosting races over the weekend. Visit the racebook at BookMaker.eu for post times and betting odds.

Several other leagues, including Home Sweet Home, Dreamhack Masters and the Winners League, are also in action competing in Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
