UFC Fight Night Main Card Predictions: Hall vs Strickland

Fight Night on ESPN is not to be missed on Saturday.  One look at the Main Card on the UFC betting board shows a level of parity that promises excitement.  Of course, the main event will have championship implications.  Aspiring middleweight contenders Uriah Hall and Sean Strickland are ranked and hungry. 

Both fighters are riding multi-bout winning streaks.  Most important of all, they want a title shot. A win would further that cause, while a loss would be a deal-breaker.  Perhaps permanently.  On the whole, this is one of the best main cards of the entire year thus far.

Uriah “Prime Time” Hall has a career record of 18 wins and nine losses.  Hall has won four consecutive fights heading into this one.  Last time out on April 24, 2021, Hall defeated Chris Weidman by first-round technical knockout.  UFC 261 from Jacksonville, Florida, was the event. 

On October 31, 2020, Hall scored a fourth-round technical knockout win over Anderson Silva.  Specifically, Fight Night in Las Vegas, Nevada, was the venue.  And then Hall earned a split decision win over Antonio Carlos Junior on September 14, 2019.  Fight Night at Vancouver, British Columbia, was the event.

Sean “Tarzan” Strickland brings a mark of 23 wins, three losses, and one draw.  In like manner to Hall, Strickland has won four consecutive fights.  On May 1, 2021, Strickland defeated Krzysztof Jotko by unanimous decision.  UFC on ESPN from Las Vegas, Nevada was the event. 

While on November 14, 2020, Strickland scored a technical knockout over Brendan Allen.  Fight Night from Las Vegas, Nevada, was the venue.  And then, on October 31, 2020, Strickland beat Jack Marshman by unanimous decision.  Fight Night from Las Vegas, Nevada was the event.
