College Basketball – Parlay Picks for Wednesday, February 15

The college basketball slate for Wednesday, February 15 is loaded with great matchups and under-the-radar contests with wagering opportunities for bettors of all shapes and sizes. The number of games makes a parlay card a worthwhile adventure, though the handicapping skills need to be sharpened in order to win multiple bets on the same ticket. A top-10 encounter in the SEC between freshly minted No. 1 Alabama and No. 10 Tennessee will get plenty of attention. As will the Big East contest that has No. 16 Xavier at No. 11 Marquette. You can use the information to make your own wagers and hopefully stock that bank roll with a winning college basketball parlay card. You can bet parlays at Bookmaker.eu with odds for every game on the Wednesday schedule.

Alabama Crimson Tide at Tennessee Volunteers

Maybe Alabama is more than a football school. For the first time in two decades the Tide sit atop the national rankings as the best team in the land. It really doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things since winning in March is what matters. Still, the Tide has won four straight and 13 of 14 boasting a 22-3 record heading into Wednesday’s matchup with the Vols. And UT knows the pitfalls of being ranked so high. Just a few weeks ago they reached No. 2 in the AP poll but have since lost three of four, including the last two games on buzzer-beating three-pointers. Tennessee isn’t worse because of the losses, but two setbacks in nearly identical fashion are a major letdown. Bama has been building for this moment since Nate Oats took over a few years ago and a top-ranked recruiting class put them over the top. Their last game was in a hostile environment downing Auburn 77-69 as a slight 1-point favorite improving to 8-1 SU and 6-3 ATS on the road. This should be a close game, but I’m leaning toward the visitors covering again.

CBB Parlay Pick: Alabama ATS

Virginia Cavaliers at Louisville Cardinals

Tied for first atop the ACC standings, the Cavs’ contest with last place Louisville looks like a mismatch. And despite their 19-4 SU record the Cavs are just 10-12-1 ATS, so backing them on the line isn’t a guarantee. A moneyline bet on the visitors also offers little value. What stands out to me in this game is the total. The number will be low with Virginia’s proclivity for playing stingy defense and Louisville’s struggles scoring the basketball. Once again UVA is among the best in the country holding opponents to just over 60 points per game. The Cards average 64 points with the Cavs having only game in their previous 10 close with a total of fewer than the combined averages. Ten times the Cavs held an opponent to fewer than 60 points cashing the UNDER in seven of those games. Virginia posted a 51-50 victory in the last meeting and I expect much of the same on Wednesday.

CBB Parlay Pick: UNDER

San Diego State Aztecs at Fresno State Bulldogs

The top team in the Mountain West looks to remain there when the Aztecs visit Fresno State. Being a mid-major the conference gets overlooked, but this could be the strongest season ever with seven teams having at least 15 wins at this point. What that means is a loss in conference play isn’t as damming as it might otherwise have been. The Bulldogs have dealt with injury issues forcing them to shorten the bench resulting in what’s been a down year for them. Expect SDSU to take advantage with their depth. The Aztecs are 3-0 SU and ATS since losing to Nevada in late January and 7-1 SU and ATS in their last eight outings. They are a good road team at 8-1 SU playing strong defense. The Aztecs hold opponents to 65.8 points per game, which will be enough to cover on the road.

CBB Parlay Pick: San Diego State ATS

Oregon Ducks at Washington Huskies

While the overall records are fairly close with Oregon at 15-11 and UW at 13-13, a close look tells us the teams struggle against top-tier competition. Between them they have just one win in 12 games against ranked foes with Oregon’s 87-68 thrashing of Arizona last month the lone victory. Oregon showed some fight against UCLA last time out rallying late to make the final score closer. And fight is something the Huskies have shown little of losing four straight and five of their last six games.

CBB Parlay Pick: Oregon ML
