College Basketball Parlay Picks for Wednesday, March 1

Since Wednesday is the first day in March I guess we can officially say the madness has arrived. Some leagues have completed their regular season schedule with conference tournaments set to get started while others finish out the slate getting positioning for their championship tournaments. It does allow for a busy Wednesday on the college basketball front with plenty of games to look at for our college basketball parlay cards.

If you’re a fan of the Charleston Southern Buccaneers or High Point Panthers you can wager on their first round Big South Championship matchup. The Northeast Conference and Ohio Valley Conference are also playing their championship tournament. Some higher profile programs are in action with a top-20 matchup in the Big East between No. 19 Xavier and No. 20 Providence. And we should get some clarity in the Big 12 with second-place No. 9 Texas visiting No. 22 TCU. You can bet parlays at Bookmaker.eu with odds for every game on the Wednesday schedule.

Wednesday College Basketball Parlay Picks

Auburn Tigers at Alabama Crimson Tide

Despite the off court drama the Alabama program is dealing with, the Tide continues to win games. Their recent victories were closer than most expected, though, getting by South Carolina 78-76 in overtime as a 17-point favorite and most recently beating Arkansas by three while laying 7.5-points. Bama faces a good Auburn team on Wednesday, who they beat 77-69 on the road two weeks ago. Alabama has won 16 of 18 games since falling to Gonzaga in December, but the events surrounding leading scorer Brandon Miller have apparently affected the team. And with Auburn looking to climb the SEC standings you know the Tigers will bring it in a rivalry game. For a team that was nationally ranked most of the year, suffering through a 3-7 skid in their last 10 games is deflating. And I expect to see Auburn regroup after getting dismantled 86-54 by Kentucky on Saturday.

Parlay Pick: Auburn ATS

Oklahoma Sooners at Kansas State Wildcats

Bringing up the rear of the Big 12 isn’t all that bad considering it’s the strongest basketball conference in the country. But the Sooners have struggled in league play winning just four of 16 games. One of those victories came on Valentine’s Day, 79-65, over Kansas State when OU was favored by 1.5 points, which gives you an idea of how strong the league is since K-State is just two games off the lead and has wins over Kansas, Texas and Baylor, the top three teams in the conference. And the Wildcats have been dominant at home going 15-1 SU and 12-4 ATS with the lone loss by three points to the Longhorns. The ‘Cats got a wakeup call with back to back setbacks to OU and Texas Tech, the bottom two in the Big 12, they are 3-0 SU and ATS since. And they’re looking for payback in this one.

Parlay Pick: Kansas State ATS

Utah State Aggies at UNLV Runnin Rebels

I’ve had some success when going with mid-major conferences and the Mountain West is a good one. We could see as many as four teams reach the NCAA Tournament with the top four clubs each having at least 22 victories heading into the final week of league play. Utah State is one of those four teams sporting a 22-7 SU record while going 11-5 in conference. The starting five does all the heavy lifting with four players averaging more than 30 minutes and all five scoring more than 10 points per outing. The Aggies score more than 78 points per game thanks to having the second-best three-point shooting group in the country. Steven Ashworth and Sean Bairstow connect on better than 43 percent from behind the arc and the Aggies are 3-0 SU and ATS since losing consecutive games to San Diego State and San Jose State. UNLV was expected to be among the top teams in the league and the Rebels looked the part in non-conference games going 11-1. But the MW road has been tougher and the Rebs are just 6-10. The teams played a close game in Logan in January with USU getting a 75-71 win and UNLV earning the payout catching 7-points.  With a closer spread I like the visitors to cover.

Parlay Pick: Utah State ATS
