NBA Parlay Picks for Wednesday, March 22

After several weeks of winning picks but no parlays, I finally hit one when my three-teamer paid out. It doesn’t happen all the time so I’m enjoying the rewards for a little while, at least until the next round comes up. And that next round is on Wednesday with a good slate of games on the NBA schedule to choose from, including a ESPN doubleheader. After the top three the Western Conference is a mess with four wins separating fourth-seed Phoenix from No. 12 New Orleans. The standings change daily with teams looking to compete in the postseason needing wins to separate from each other.

So of course we get a pair of games from the West featuring teams smack in the middle of the congested mess. Winning on the road will help Golden State’s chances. The Warriors ended an 11-game road losing streak beating Houston on Monday and stay in Texas for a matchup with Dallas. Currently outside a play-in spot, the Lakers host Phoenix in the nightcap. And we can’t forget about the East with the NBA best Milwaukee Bucks hosting San Antonio. I’ll attempt to follow up last week’s winning ticket with another NBA parlay for games on Wednesday, March 22.

San Antonio Spurs at Milwaukee Bucks

I like Milwaukee’s depth and I really like Giannis Antetokounmpo, who gives the Bucks an edge over every other team in the NBA. But the Bucks have had problems with San Antonio losing the first meeting this season and two straight overall. With wins in over 80 percent of their home games, Milwaukee will be a huge favorite against one of the worst teams in the Association. And it wouldn’t surprise me to see Mike Budenholzer take this opportunity to rest some of his regulars. I don’t like the spread on this game but I do like betting the OVER with the Bucks’ ability to score against the Spurs leaky defense that surrenders a NBA worst 122.1 points per game. The Spurs average 113 points but we’ve seen Milwaukee play a wide open style lately giving up more than 120 points in five of their last nine games.

NBA Parlay Pick: Milwaukee / San Antonio OVER

Golden State Warriors at Dallas Mavericks

It’s inconceivable how the Warriors can be so bad on the road. The defending champs are fighting for their playoff lives because they have just eight road wins in 37 games with the worst cover rate at just 25 percent. And they needed a win and payout over the West worst Rockets just to get there. Earlier in the season their troubles were kind of blown off because they managed to get a winning record by dominating at home. Now, though, it’s a full blown problem. And they aren’t playing Houston on Wednesday. The Mavs have struggled with Luka Doncic out of the lineup due to injury losing to Memphis on Monday to snap a two-game winning streak. Those wins weren’t exactly confidence boosters going to overtime against San Antonio and getting a game-winning three from Maxi Kleber to beat the Lakers. Still a win is a win and Dallas is fighting with the Warriors for a top-six giving the Mavs added incentive to keep the Dubs down.

NBA Parlay Pick: Dallas ATS

Denver Nuggets at Washington Wizards

Finishing up their Eastern Conference road trip with their fifth game in nine days, the Nuggets are a weary group heading into their matchup with the Wizards. This might look like a mismatch on paper with the Nuggets boasting the best record in the West while the Wiz are trying to stay within striking distance of a play-in spot. There certainly is the chance for Denver to ease up with the lengthy trip coming to an end and Washington will play with a sense of urgency since their postseason hopes are facing. Things haven’t been going well for the Wizards with two straight losses and setbacks in seven of their last nine games, but they’ve performed better all season at home and need a good effort to stay in the hunt. And with time running out I think they deliver.

NBA Parlay Pick: Washington ATS
